Our counter current unit X-jet received the “Plus X Award 2016”, the world’s largest innovation award for technology, sports and lifestyle in five categories – design, innovation, high quality, ease of use and functionality. In addition the X-jet has been awarded for “Best product of the year 2016/2017”.
Due to the newly developed flow-optimized flat jet the outlet flow does not hit the swimmer as with conventional counter currents, but creates a wide area output flow. Due to the modular method of construction, multiple single jets can be installed next to each other in the pool and operated by pumps with different capacities and power. The unit is suitable for professional demands, for training, for young and old, for the whole family and every size of pool. This design is characterized by the reduction of shape to the essential and waives the ornamental elements. The overall impression appears to be very simple and pure. This results in a harmonious unity of aesthetics, technology, function and use. The flat and rectangular construction of the X-jet nozzle integrates harmoniously into todays, mostly cubic designed, modern pool areas. The X-jet is made of salt-water resistant stainless steel in brushed or polished execution. The used material and surface are consciously shown in visual contrast to tiles, liners, plastic materials and concrete, which are used in swimming pool construction.
The newly developed touch sensitive buttons with its large diameter and its haptic symbols facilitate underwater operation for both young and old. The buttons can also be installed separately in the house or at the pool. The speed-controlled pump can also be controlled through external terminal systems of other producers. Thereby programmable training units (timed and/or staged) are possible.
The independent and international jury of the “Plus X Award” represents 26 industries. Award-worthy are newly developed products and intelligent control concepts. But also ergonomic, ecologic and sustainable product properties are valued.
